The Mermaid's Letters pt. 5
I have been having all kinds of exciting and imaginative ideas lately, especially regarding the story itself and how to effectively present it within the various pages of my book. I have been diligently asking myself a series of thoughtful questions, such as, should I consider incorporating pockets for the different story parts? What about the intriguing concept of making the pages look like water, creating an immersive experience for the readers? Maybe I should put part of the story on interactive pieces that pull out? As I figure out the answers to these and more I thought I might give you a bit of a story teaser, just to ”tide” you over, get it?…

Her silver-streaked hair floated around her like a halo, and her hands were busy weaving seaweed strands into a delicate braid.

I truly hope this satisfies your curiosity, at least for the time being! I understand, I know, you have so many questions swirling around in your mind! Who exactly is Morwen? What intriguing item did the child bring with them? What kind of mysterious object pulses softly with a silent song? Where can her tranquil sanctuary be found? Well, do stay tuned for another update on my progress soon, as I look forward to sharing more with you!
